Patient Care Technician

Per Diem

Summary:
The Patient Care Technician is a staff member who maintains the stocking of equipment/supplies, cleaning of the Center, and assisting the nurses and Surgical Technicians in preparation for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative procedure duties as needed.

Responsibilities:
Patient Care Technician duties will consist of, but are not limited to:
•    Stocking of new deliveries (supplies and equipment).
•    Daily checks with stocking the Center in its entirety.
•    Cleaning and room turnovers of the ORs per the Center’s policy and procedures.
•    Assist with patient positioning in the ORs.
•    Assisting with general duties asked by the other staff members.
•    Be always professional and courteous.
•    Follow HIPAA privacy guidelines.
•    Multi-tasker, team player, adaptable, and organized a must.
 

Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or equivalent.
•    Must possess knowledge of supplies and equipment.
•    Must possess knowledge of proper cleaning technique per the Center’s policy and procedures.
•    Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both verbal and written.

Salary : $18 - $22
