Duties

- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using medical office management software
- Collect and update patient information, including insurance details and medical history, maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and provide clear instructions regarding procedures or follow-up care
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate timely treatment plans
- Manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
- Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, updating records with medical terminology, and handling administrative tasks efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience working in a medical or dental office environment with strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tools such as electronic health records (EHR) systems and scheduling software
