The Opportunity
Our client, a large multinational manufacturer with a growing U.S. footprint, is adding a Senior Financial Analyst to its expanding finance team. This is a high-visibility, high-impact individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of FP&A, business partnering, and operational analytics.
You'll go beyond standard reporting — developing tools, analytics, and models that give leaders real-time visibility into the business, while driving proactive, data-informed decision-making across functions.
Role Description
- Analyze historic, current, and forward-looking financial data to assess business health and surface opportunities
- Serve as a strategic business partner to selected functions — collaborating cross-functionally to maximize profit and cash through cost savings, efficiency improvements, and investment initiatives
- Build and maintain financial models, metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Drive operational discipline by translating financial data into actionable insights for front-line and executive leaders
- Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation; prepare financial documentation for funding and investment decisions
- Identify industry trends and benchmarks; conduct scenario analysis to support strategic recommendations
- Develop SOPs and SWIs; participate in kaizen activities to improve internal controls
- Support the monthly financial close process and execute ad hoc analysis as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required
- 4–6 years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI proficiency
- Strong financial modeling, scenario analysis, and variance reporting skills
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority
- Experience with SAP (S/4), Oracle, or a comparable fully integrated ERP
- Comfort working with both domestic and international teams
- Strong organizational skills; capable of handling confidential information with discretion
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience with EPM tools, think-cell, or AI-driven finance tools (e.g., Claude, Palantir, finance-centric AI agents)
- SAP S/4 super user designation
- Resilient and self-motivated; thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
