Job Summary:

We are seeking 3 dedicated Area Managers to assist us with our West Baton Rouge Custodial team of 35 persons for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate(s) would need to available from 3-9pm Monday through Friday. As an Area Manager, you would be responsible for providing daily guidance at multiple site locations, communicating with clients and staff, training new employees, routine inspections, addressing and reporting issues or concerns, and providing support to teams that may be shorthanded.

Duties:

• Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple sites in the Brusly area, ensuring all work meets contractual standards and health & safety regulations.
• Lead, train, and motivate site Team Leads and General Cleaners I and II to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, supplies used, and site performance metrics and communicate records to management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for service feedback and issue resolution.
• Ensure efficient use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members.

Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience in multi-site operations management, ideally in cleaning, facilities, or hospitality.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities — you thrive in a fast-paced, mobile role.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and health & safety standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both clients and staff.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites.
