ANM is seeking a Special Systems Summer Intern to join our exceptional team.

Who We Are Looking For: 

 We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in security systems installation and project coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in technology, construction, or project management, along with a willingness to learn, work collaboratively, and contribute in a fast-paced field environment.

 

What you will be doing as a Special Systems Summer Intern


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist technicians with mounting and positioning cameras 
  • Support cable pulling, routing, and basic terminations 
  • Inventory and stage equipment prior to installation 
  • Follow installation checklists, site plans, and engineering designs 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment 
  • Adhere to safety standards and site protocols 

Project Management Exposure & Responsibilities:

  • Support project kickoff activities, including site readiness and material verification 
  • Assist in tracking daily progress against project schedules and milestones 
  • Update task completion and field notes in project tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet or similar) 
  • Help identify and communicate risks, delays, or site constraints to the project team 
  • Participate in daily or weekly project check-ins with field leads and project managers 
  • Support quality assurance by validating installations against design standards and scope 
  • Assist with project closeout activities, including documentation, punch lists, and final site cleanup


Required education, technical skills, and/or experience:

 

  • Interest in technology, construction, project management, or physical security systems 
  • Ability to work outdoors and on active job sites 
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools 
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn 
  • Good communication and organizational skills 
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly 
  • Comfortable working on ladders and at heights 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods 
  • Capable of working in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind) 
  • Ability to safely use basic tools and equipment

 

TRAVEL:

Travel is occasionally required for this position. Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
