Job Responsibilities And Requirements
- Essential Duties will be dependent on specific warehouse function being performed.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production, engineering and other requestors within the company.
- Enter transactions for materials or items received from or distributed to production, maintain records of inventory requests and work order requests.
- Maintain accuracy of inventory in stocking locations, daily cycle counts.
- Move materials between stocking locations based on system generated requirements.
- Receive shipments from suppliers, verify packing slip quantities, match to PO in database, processes receipt transaction.
- Pics, pack and process shipments to customers, using UPS and FedEx system as well as company database.
- Candidate must be accurate with material counts and data entry transactions.
- Able to clearly communicate with both internal and external groups and give precise updates to management when requested.
- Perform other assignments as required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly/constantly required to stand, walk, sit and use both hands. Candidate must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladder.
- Minimum 1-year general stockroom prior work experience in manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
- Minimum education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (October through May). Summer hours (June through September): Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:45pm.
- Overtime is required including starting early, staying late, and working weekends.
- We are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations). Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Previous stockroom operations experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Experience with computerized ERP operations software for all stockroom, receiving, shipping, kitting and requisitions activities.
- International shipping experience.
