THE ROLE:
Join AMD’s Finance organization in a high-visibility individual contributor role that bridges financial strategy with business operations. As the Staff Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in integrating AMD’s recent acquisition of ZT Systems, ensuring financial alignment with corporate goals and driving meaningful business outcomes. This position focuses on forecasting, revenue tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver strategic insights and support high-level decision-making. It’s a unique opportunity to contribute to AMD’s growth in a collaborative and innovative setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for operational expenses, capital expenditures, and headcount planning.
• Forecast and report revenue in partnership with leadership to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Support ZT Systems’ integration by collaborating with the integration office and cross-functional teams.
• Deliver management reports to inform strategic decision-making.
• Partner with finance, accounting, business, and operations teams to ensure results.
• Manage month-end accounting and financial processes.
• Approve purchase requisitions in line with budgets.
• Optimize reporting and automate workflows using advanced Excel skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with expertise in financial modeling.
• Ability to analyze financial models and derive actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of finance/accounting concepts and US GAAP principles.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial results and insights.
• Proficiency in financial planning and reporting systems.
• SAP experience and expertise in data mining and database management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
