THE ROLE:

As a key member of the AMD Commercial Law team, the Paralegal will provide essential support to the Client and Graphics business unit, helping manage commercial contracting matters and ensuring legal processes run smoothly. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with internal functions such as Finance, Marketing, and the Global Sales Team, as well as with commercial attorneys. You will play an integral part in supporting business activities and managing the contract lifecycle, including contract drafting and tracking. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your organizational and contract management skills will shine as you work directly with legal professionals and other stakeholders.

We are looking for a highly-organized, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, capable of managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities with minimal oversight. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with all levels of the organization, and the ability to maintain confidentiality is critical. You should have a keen eye for detail, excellent business judgment, and the ability to work well with various internal teams and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide paralegal support to AMD's Client and Graphics Business Units and commercial attorneys in managing the contract lifecycle.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of commercial contracts, software license agreements and other business agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, and the Global Sales Team, to ensure smooth contract execution and compliance with internal processes.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, obtain contract signatures and handle other similar duties as needed.
• Organize and track pending contract information using Excel and an electronic document management system.
• Prepare contract summaries and assist with the development of contract templates and playbooks.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Experience in contract management or commercial law is preferred.
• Familiarity with contract management systems and e-signature platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and document management systems.
