The Role:

Join AMD’s dynamic AI & Digital Marketing Team where you will help teams stay successful and on the cutting edge of digital transformation in the age of AI, by deploying internal AI solutions for the marketing and communications groups within AMD. This role involves deep collaboration with marketing and stakeholder teams, to enhance user engagement and drive business objectives. You will be part of a close-knit team that values innovation, creativity, and initiative – and the ideal candidate will have a good blend of both program management and technical skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to identify needs, determine solutions, and execute scalable AI programs.
• Focus on optimizing user experiences, advancing organizational capabilities, and creating business advantages using AI.
• Potential focus areas include content creation, behaviors/trend analysis, process automation, campaign optimization, and more.
• Manage multiple AI projects and workstreams – whether implemented internally or with partners – to ensure on-time deployment, goal attainment, and usage.
• Understand tools currently availability – and develop new ones – to address needs and scale AI across the org.
• Work with our Responsible AI team to ensure that any AI applications are secure, fair, reliable, transparent, accountable, sustainable; and which preserve human agency through human-centric AI design.
• Experience with business AI tools and technologies, such as Copilot, LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.), agentic applications, customer targeting technology, and embedded AI applications.
• While hands-on coding is not a requirement, you will need a technical acumen and understanding of what various AI applications and tools can accomplish
• Bring forward-thinking ideas, innovative AI approaches, and rapid execution to enhance marketing efforts.
• Continually seek ways to improve processes and team proficiency, contributing to the evolution and optimization of internal tools and workflow processes.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Background in organizational change, preferably focused on developing and implementing AI capabilities
• Understanding digital strategy including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, web content management, and user experience optimization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholder teams and agency partners.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex information to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise.
• High attention to detail, well organized, and effective at time management.
• High degree of ownership and accountability
• Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry is preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Marketing or a related field; MBA or other advanced business degree is a plus.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
