THE ROLE:
The Community Partner & Content Specialist plays a critical role in strengthening AMD’s presence across gaming, PC enthusiast, and creator communities. This role sits at the intersection of community, content, and partnerships—helping tell AMD’s story through authentic, community-driven engagement.
In this role, you’ll build meaningful relationships with creators, community groups, and partner brands while developing content that showcases AMD’s product leadership across Ryzen™, Radeon™, AI PC innovations, and platform technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to amplify launches, campaigns, and ongoing initiatives, while ensuring AMD’s voice resonates where enthusiasts and creators are most active.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate is both a relationship builder and a storyteller. You are deeply familiar with PC hardware, gaming, or tech enthusiast communities and understand how to engage them authentically. You’re comfortable representing a brand in public forums, adaptable in tone, and confident collaborating across cross-functional teams. You bring curiosity, creativity, and a data-informed mindset to everything you do.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and support partnerships with creators, community groups, grassroots organizations, and partner brands aligned with AMD’s product roadmap
- Develop compelling content that highlights AMD technologies, including Ryzen™, Radeon™, AI PC features, platform innovations, and software updates
- Own and maintain an editorial calendar supporting product launches, marketing campaigns, and community activations
- Represent AMD across digital communities such as Discord, Reddit, YouTube, and social media platforms
- Surface community insights, sentiment, and feedback to marketing, product, and engineering teams to inform strategy and decision-making
- Track performance metrics and help optimize content, partnerships, and community programs based on results and learnings
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working within PC hardware, gaming, or technology enthusiast communities
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills across digital platforms
- Experience supporting or managing creators, community partnerships, or community-driven programs
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and engineering teams
- Comfortable using performance metrics to inform content and community strategy
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
