THE ROLE:
THE PERSON:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, debug, and optimize SLT test programs for AMD processors.
- Support new product bring-up, characterization, and test margin analysis.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for yield, quality, test coverage, and test time improvements.
- Investigate and resolve silicon, firmware, design, and manufacturing issues.
- Partner with design, diagnostics, foundry, supply chain, and engineering teams to drive product readiness.
- Improve test methodologies, automation, and engineering tools to increase operational efficiency.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Background in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Logic, Circuit Theory, or Computer Architecture.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, C/C , Java, SQL, shell scripting, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, data modeling, and Pareto-based problem solving.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as JMP, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with PC hardware, system bring-up, ATE environments, and hardware debug methodologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work effectively with geographically distributed global teams; exposure to machine learning concepts or automation tool development is a plus.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines preferred.
- Advanced degree is a plus.
