THE ROLE: 

In this high-profile role, you will be the overall program leader for key engineering initiatives from concept to execution. You will work across all of engineering and business to meet overall initiative and/or product objectives.  

THE PERSON: 

The right candidate will have solid knowledge of technical program management, an outstanding track record of delivering sophisticated software and hardware programs, you will also drive a schedule for business planning towards growth that aligns to business strategy 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Identify and seek out new ecosystem partners for hardware solutions from China based providers in support of AMD client and graphics markets
• Proactively work with and partner with AMD business teams for a successful engagement and deployment for China strategy of ecosystem partnerships
• Develop and build long lasting relationships with China based ecosystem partners
• Seek out and participate in any ecosystem forums for China local ecosystems
• Bridge between business and engineering for Technology Enablement team within the client business
• Create and promote Win-Win situations/solutions for ecosystem partners from business perspective
• Partner and promote of ecosystem partners to china localized OEM and ODM
• Being comfortable working with senior executives is a hard requirement. You must address the needs and requirements called upon from AMD's Engineering, Product Management and Customer Engineering organizations 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Team player, the successful candidate will partner with several subject matter experts (SMEs) for development of china based ecosystem partnerships
• Must be able to envision and understand the "big Picture"
• Strong existing network of key industry players within china (PC, OEM, and ODM)
• Ability to grasp concepts during discussions and turn minutes into action items 
• Analytical, self-motivated, organized, detailed-oriented and results-oriented 
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with multiple people and teams, ability to communicate progress to team members on a regular basis across the globe

• Experience working in a high-pressure environment and competing priorities and tight turnaround times 
• Engineering background preferred 
• Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence and Excel is an asset 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering 
• MBA considered a strong asset
