AMCR is seeking a compassionate and motivated Clinical Endocrinologist to join our expanding team in Escondido, California. This role is ideal for graduating fellows who are passionate about diabetes care, obesity medicine, thyroid disease, and metabolic health.
Physicians will care for a broad spectrum of endocrine pathology while working within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary care model designed to improve patient outcomes and provider experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Clinical Care
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine conditions including:
- Diabetes
- Obesity and metabolic disease
- Thyroid disorders
- Osteoporosis and bone health disorders
- Adrenal and pituitary disorders
- Reproductive endocrinology conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor longitudinal patient outcomes
- Utilize CGMs, insulin pumps, EMR data, and remote monitoring tools to optimize care
- Build and manage a robust outpatient referral-based patient panel
- Work closely with Nurse Practitioners, Diabetes Educators, Dietitians, Medical Assistants, and Care Coordinators
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and complex patient management
- Help shape innovative care delivery and population health initiatives
- Opportunity to perform and develop expertise in:
- Thyroid ultrasound
- Thyroid FNA
- Thyroid thermal ablation
- DEXA interpretation
- FibroScan and body composition analysis
- Participate in practice growth and strategic initiatives

- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology Fellowship by 2027
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology
- Eligible for California medical licensure
