What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher FT IMT position at Advanced Medical Transport?
Full-time Dispatcher
As a dispatcher, you will be responsible for answering phone calls, receiving requests for ambulance and interfacility transfer service, inputting information into the CAD and MOXO Systems, selecting and dispatching the appropriate units to respond appropriately to the type of call.
This position will work a 12-hour, A/B shift rotation 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.
What You Will Do:
- Receive incoming requests for ambulance and interfacility transfer service
- Determine call the urgency and location of the situation
- Dispatches the appropriate unit to respond to service requests based on the type of call and scheduled time
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Prepare accurate and timely statistical reports and appropriate paperwork
- Follow operations service center policies and procedure

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Typing ability of 35-40 words per minute
- Data entry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR
