About the Role

Advanced Medical Services LLC is seeking a dependable, professional, and highly detail-oriented Healthcare Field Operations Coordinator to support patient transportation, travel logistics, appointment coordination, and field-based patient support in the Denver area.

This is a PRN/on-call position to start, with hours scheduled as needed based on patient volume, appointments, surgeries, airport pickups, travel needs, and care coordination requirements. As our patient volume grows in the Denver area, this role has the potential to develop into a more consistent part-time or full-time position.

This is a hands-on, patient-facing role that combines transportation, concierge-level coordination, travel planning, and healthcare operations support. The right candidate will be comfortable transporting patients, coordinating flights, lodging, airport pickups, appointments, and other travel-related logistics while maintaining a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys field-based work, has flexibility in their schedule, and is comfortable providing high-level support to patients in a transportation and logistics-focused role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments, procedures, surgeries, airports, lodging, and other approved destinations
  • Coordinate patient travel logistics, including flights, airport pickups, drop-offs, lodging, appointment timing, and related details
  • Provide concierge-level support to patients throughout the care coordination process
  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, clinics, surgical centers, internal team members, and other involved parties
  • Help ensure patients arrive safely, on time, and prepared for appointments, procedures, surgeries, and follow-up care
  • Assist with transporting patients before and after procedures, including situations involving post-procedure or post-anesthesia transportation
  • Help coordinate patient care needs between Denver and Utah teams
  • Maintain accurate notes, updates, and documentation related to patient transportation, appointments, and logistics
  • Handle patient interactions with professionalism, calm judgment, and strong personal boundaries
  • Assist patients with luggage, basic mobility support, and transportation-related needs as appropriate
  • Represent the company professionally in all patient-facing and provider-facing interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Excellent driving record required
  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and any company-required screening
  • Comfortable transporting patients before and after medical procedures and surgeries
  • Comfortable working on a PRN/on-call basis with variable hours
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and confident in field-based patient interactions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information appropriately
  • Strong judgment, reliability, and follow-through
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends as patient schedules require
  • Ability to lift and assist with luggage, mobility support, and transportation-related needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience in patient coordination, medical transportation, medical assisting, case management, healthcare operations, EMT, CNA, medical office support, surgical coordination, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working directly with patients in a field-based or transportation-related setting
  • Familiarity with appointment coordination, surgery scheduling, or medical follow-up processes
  • Strong comfort using phone, email, maps/navigation tools, scheduling systems, and basic documentation platforms

Schedule

This is a PRN/on-call position to start. Hours will vary based on patient appointments, surgeries, travel schedules, airport pickups, lodging needs, and care coordination requirements.

There are no guaranteed weekly hours at this time. This role is best suited for someone who has flexibility in their schedule and is interested in growing with the company as patient volume increases in the Denver area.

Availability may be needed during early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends depending on patient travel and procedure schedules. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible, but candidates should be comfortable with a flexible and changing schedule.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range is $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits include paid onboarding and training related to company processes and role expectations. Additional benefits eligibility will be confirmed based on employment status and hours worked.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and service-minded. This person should be comfortable working independently in the field, transporting patients safely, managing travel details, communicating with providers and internal teams, and providing a high level of patient support.

This role requires someone who can balance compassion with professionalism, maintain appropriate boundaries, and confidently represent the company in a variety of patient-facing situations.

Because this role is PRN/on-call to start, the ideal candidate will also have schedule flexibility and an interest in growing with the position as patient volume increases.
