'JOB DESCRIPTION
· Perform Receiving, Preliminary & Hidden Damage, In Process and Final Inspections during maintenance or repair, modification, rework, and overhaul of aircraft components
· Using FAA approved and/or acceptable data which would include, engine manuals, service bulletins, engineering drawings, teardown reports, purchase orders, sketch sheets, routers and standard shop instructions to ensure quality requirements are met
· Be proficient with precision measuring instruments and understand acceptance criteria
· Ensures non-conforming product are properly identified, segregated, reviewed, and disposed in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
· Develop positive business relationships and effective lines of communication with all departments
· Perform other duties, consistent with the position, as required or assigned
· Maintain operation and accuracy of the scanning and filing for overhaul and repair engine maintenance records
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of repair station inspection experience as an Inspector
- Experience with PC-DMIS CMM software is desirable
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to use common inspection measurement tools, such as dial bores, calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks and borescopes etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and symbols - must have strong GD&T skills
- Knowledgeable with FAA Part 145, 43, 65, 21, EASA, ISO/AS9100, industry standards and regulations
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office software (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Certificated under Part 65 is preferable
