Advanced Machining is hiring a CNC Mill Operator to support production on our vertical machining centers. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, takes pride in quality work, and wants to continue developing their skills in CNC setup, inspection, and programming.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills, including Akira Seiki, Brother, DMG Mori, and similar vertical machining centers
- Load and unload parts safely and efficiently
- Monitor machining cycles and identify basic issues during production
- Make basic offsets and perform tool checks as needed
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other standard measuring equipment
- Follow work instructions, setup sheets, and quality standards
- Complete required production and quality documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- CNC mill operation experience preferred
- Basic blueprint reading ability preferred
- Understanding of machining fundamentals
- Ability to use common inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, reliable, and willing to learn
- Interest in growing into setup or programming responsibilities is a plus
Compensation
· Pay: $20–$35 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Schedule: M-Th 7:00am-4:30pm, F 7:00-11:00 am.
