Lathe Operator – CNC Turning
Advanced Machining is hiring a CNC Lathe Operator to support production on our CNC turning centers. This position is a good fit for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in improving their skills in a fast-paced precision machining environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes, including Tsugami, DMG Mori, and similar turning centers
- Load and unload parts safely and efficiently
- Monitor machining cycles and identify basic issues during production
- Make basic offsets and perform tool checks as needed
- Inspect parts using standard measuring equipment
- Complete required production and quality documentation
- Follow work instructions, setup sheets, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- Basic CNC machining experience preferred, especially on lathes
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn, improve, and take on additional responsibility
- Ability to read basic prints and use measuring tools is a plus
Compensation
· Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Schedule: M-Th 7:00am-4:30pm, F 7:00-11:00 am.
