Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Supervisor and Laborer to join our team. This position involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, ensuring that outdoor spaces are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and groundskeeping, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Pay is based on experience. Supervisor must have clean drivers license
Duties
- Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Assist in the installation and care of plants, trees, and shrubs.
- Irrigate landscapes effectively to promote healthy growth.
- Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features.
- Supervise and lead small teams during various landscaping projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Follow safety protocols while performing tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of tree care practices is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Leadership skills with experience supervising others is advantageous.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems is beneficial.
- Supervisor must have a clean drivers license
