Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Lawn Care Technician with Irrigation Experience and a valid Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator's License to join our growing landscape maintenance team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality lawn care services, irrigation system maintenance, and safe application of fertilizers and pesticides to residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service and landscape results.
Key Responsibilities
Lawn Care Services
- Perform lawn fertilization, weed control, insect control, and disease management applications.
- Diagnose turfgrass health issues and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Operate commercial lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain healthy turf, shrubs, and ornamental plantings.
- Maintain accurate application records in compliance with Massachusetts regulations.
Irrigation Services
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems.
- Perform spring start-ups, mid-season inspections, and winterization services.
- Identify and repair leaks, broken heads, valves, wiring, and controller issues.
- Ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently and comply with local water-use regulations.
General Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding services and recommendations.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Complete daily work orders and service reports accurately.
- Assist with other landscape maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator's License
- Minimum 2 years of lawn care, turf management, or related landscape experience.
- Experience repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Occasional seasonal overtime and weekend work may be required.
