Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures, including specimen collection and processing.
- Administer vaccines under the direction of healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Assist with office administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling patient inquiries.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively
- Proficiency in medical terminology and computer skills.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is required.
