DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Source candidates through job boards, trade schools, referrals, and local outreach
· Screen applicants to ensure qualifications, certifications, and shipyard experience meet job requirements
· Conduct interviews (phone or in-person) and coordinate the hiring process
· Verify credentials such as OSHA certifications, welding certifications, and security clearances
· Manage high-volume recruiting for skilled trades and labor roles
· Coordinate onboarding and orientation schedules
· Maintain ATS and recruitment records
· Build relationships with workforce development programs and community organizations
· Support workforce planning to meet project timelines and contract requirements
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum requirement of HS diploma with at least three (3) years of relevant experience
· Experience in recruiting, preferably in industrial, construction, or maritime environments
· Knowledge of shipyard trades
· Familiarity with hiring regulations and compliance (EEO, safety requirements, etc.)
· Proficiency with ATS platforms and recruiting tools
· Ability to obtain and maintain US Navy base and local shipyard access credentials (DBIDS, NAVSEA, CAC, etc.)
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including client-facing experience
· Knowledge of government compliance requirements and administrative best practices
· Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
