Summary:
Assemble and wire electrical control panels to electrical schematics. Panels include Variable Frequency Drive, Soft Start and custom control panels using Programmable Logic Controllers or relay logic.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand electrical schematics. Knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components and general wiring practices. Familiar with proper sizing of power cabling per the NEC.
- Hand and power tool operation including drills, jig saws, knockout punches and electric/hydraulic crimpers.
- Computer skills to print wire and component labels
- Retrieve and view component layout photos.
- Assemble components to back pans and enclosures and wire per electrical schematic
Requirements:
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must practice good/safe housekeeping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work in an industrial area and involves manual labor
- Candidates must be able to bend/lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must comply with PPE requirements.
- Most of the work is at our Tulsa facility but light travel is expected on occasion
- Previous panel builder experience is preferred. Formal technical training is a plus
Must submit to pre-employment background, drug, and alcohol screening.
Salary : $21 - $24
