About the Role
At Advanced Illumination Inc., we produce a wide range of LED quality vision systems that are used throughout other industrial and manufacturing facilities to ensure the highest standards of quality products.
Advanced Illumination, Inc. is seeking a Shop Specialist with a desire to have a career with our expanding operations in Rochester, Vermont. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the workshop. The tasks include maintaining all shop equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine parts and housings for products
- Manage the workshop
- Maintain all shop equipment per preventive maintenance schedule
- Repair or obtain service for all broken equipment
- Ensure safety protocols are followed in the workshop
- All other duties as assigned by manager
Minimum Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the proper usage of various machines including lathe, mill, chop saw, table saw, shaper, drill press, brake.
- Has a strong understanding of safety techniques.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and standards.
- Good interpersonal skills.
Preferred, Not Essential
- Working knowledge of CNC machine.
