Service Plumber – Master or Journeyman (Trainees Welcome)

The Role
As a Service Plumber, you’ll diagnose and repair plumbing problems in customers’ homes and businesses. You’ll be the face of Advanced: showing up on time, explaining options clearly, and leaving every home better than you found it. We give you a stocked truck, the tools, and a team that has your back.
Pay – Based on License & Experience
- Master Plumber: $26.00–$29.00/hr (preferred)
- Journeyman Plumber: $20.00–$25.00/hr
- Trainee / Career Changer (no experience): $14.00–$16.00/hr, with a clear path to raises as you learn, get licensed, and level up
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters (tank and tankless), sump pumps, water lines, and drain/sewer issues
- Install and replace fixtures, faucets, toilets, disposals, and water heaters
- Run drain cleaning and camera inspections
- Walk customers through repair options and pricing clearly and honestly
- Use ServiceTitan on a tablet for job notes, photos, estimates, invoicing, and payments
- Keep your truck clean, organized, and stocked
- Take part in the on-call rotation (licensed plumbers)
What We’re Looking For
- Master Plumber license preferred. WV Journeyman license accepted.
- No experience? We’ll train the right person. You’ll need a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a real interest in building a career in the trades. You’ll work alongside a licensed plumber while you earn your WV Plumber in Training card and work toward your Journeyman license.
- Good communication. You’re comfortable talking with homeowners and earning their trust.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean, insurable driving record
- Able to work in crawlspaces, basements, and attics, and to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable, coachable, team-minded, and on time, every time
