Job Overview:
Local Knoxville company is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing and start up of (HVAC) systems in various residential and some light commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lead HVAC installations. It is also important for us to find someone who wants to be here long term, as well as truly be a valuable member of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Install and start-up, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, furnaces, and other related equipment.
- Drive a van to and from job sites, and transport equipment and materials.
- Utilize various tools for equipment installs to include soldering torches, recovery machine, vacuum pump, and ability to correctly charge refrigerant levels on HVAC equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of verifiable experience in HVAC installs
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
- Experience with installation equipment
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various environments.
Requirements:
**This position is for Lead installer only, not for a journeyman or helper position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
