Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant who enjoys wearing multiple hats — assisting the doctor clinically, managing day-to-day office tasks, and supporting patient engagement through light marketing and sales. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced private practice where every day is different.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
- Assist the podiatrist during patient visits and procedures
- perform X-rays,document medical histories, and prepare rooms
- Support treatment setups (orthotics, laser, or therapy devices)
- Maintain clinical cleanliness, sterilization, and supply readiness
Administrative Tasks:
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance, collect balances
- Handle phone calls, referrals, and general office organization
- Coordinate with labs, vendors, and medical supply partners
- Manage inventory and supplies
Marketing & Patient Sales:
- Educate patients on treatment options and at-home products
- Promote in-office specials, orthotics, and care packages
- Help with basic social media updates blogs, in office advertisement and patient outreach
- Encourage reviews and community engagement
Qualifications
- Previous medical assistant or healthcare office experience preferred
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Comfort discussing treatments and pricing with patients
- Friendly, professional, and reliable demeanor
- Basic computer literacy (EHR, scheduling, or marketing tools)

- Must be able to work during patient hours Monday 11:30-7:30pm, Weds 7:30am-3:00pm Friday 7:30am-3:00pm every other Thursday 7:30am- 2:00pm
