The Role
The Director of Business Development will lead and develop our Business Development Managers while personally cultivating strategic customer relationships and pursuing high-value commercial opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasting, activity, and performance.
- Develop relationships with commercial customers, contractors, property managers, municipalities, healthcare organizations, and strategic partners.
- Pursue new business and major accounts.
- Expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling AFPS services.
- Convert installation customers into recurring service and inspection clients.
- Support major proposals, bids, negotiations, and contract opportunities.
- Partner with Operations and Executive Leadership to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- 3–5 years of sales experience with at least 3 years of industry experience.
- Proven success achieving revenue and growth goals.
- Strong leadership, sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and pursuing new business.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver-insurance requirements.
- Ability to pass required background check and drug screening.
