Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to patients across the lifespan, from young children to older adults
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and conditions
- Prescribe medications and order necessary laboratory tests
- Educate patients and their families on preventive care, health promotion, and disease management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical needs
- Provide specialized care for patients with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or other specific populations
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in primary care or a related field
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, diagnosing illnesses, and developing
treatment plans
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems and ability to maintain accurate medical records
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on healthcare topics
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment
