What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician/Receptionist position at Advanced Family Eyecare of Hampton?
Full time position for a highly motivated and detail orientated experienced Optometry assistant. If you are outgoing, excited to work with a great team and driven to help others, this opportunity could be for you!
Job duties are listed below:
1. Verify insurance, preparing charts, collecting payments, communicating with patients, & checking patients into the office.
2. Answering phone lines and making appointments
3. communicate through fax, letters and other means to other physicians about patients
4. Bilingual is a plus
5. Ability to multitask, organize and perform jobs accurately
6. Ability to use computer to type letters, create spreadsheets, create documents, & scan documents
7. ordering frames and lenses from vendors
8. assisting with frame adjustments and repairs
License is preferred but not required.
You will be part of a team that provides excellent high quality eyecare to all patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
