Advanced Equine of the Hudson Valley is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to join our growing team and help guide the continued development of the practice.
An ideal candidate would be organized and dependable, but also adaptable, practical, and motivated to help refine how we operate. This is a hands-on leadership position working closely with the practice owner, veterinarians, technicians, and client service team.
The Practice Manager will help ensure that the clinic runs smoothly day to day while supporting the continued growth and development of the staff and company as a whole.
Responsibilities include:
● Overseeing daily clinic operations and workflow
● Supporting, coordinating, and developing veterinary and administrative staff
● Staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and training
● Helping develop and refine policies, procedures, and workflows
● Managing inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
● Coordinating routine HR and administrative functions
● Supporting excellent communication and service for clients and referring veterinarians
● Identifying operational issues and implementing practical solutions
● Working closely with practice ownership on staffing, operations and future growth
● Helping foster a professional, collaborative, and positive workplace culture
What We're Looking For:
● Management or leadership experience required
● Excellent organizational and communication skills
● Dependable with strong attention to detail and follow-through
● Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems independently
● Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving practice
● Able to bring structure and consistency while remaining open to change
● Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
● Excellent collaborator with a positive attitude
● Comfortable with technology, and POS systems
● Veterinary practice experience not required but a bonus
● Horse experience is a plus

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
