What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Testing Technician position at Advanced Environmental Solutions?
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED, WILLING TO TRAIN. This is a Subcontractor position. If selected, you will be traveling to gas stations/convenience stores to test the underground fuel storage systems which includes fuel storage tanks, piping and other components. You will begin as an apprentice where you will receive on the job training with a Certified Testing Technician. Once you are familiar with all of our testing equipment, we will schedual you to receive advanced training. You will receive your certification for each piece of equipment that you will be using to perform the testing which satisfies the Federal EPA and the state EPA in which you are testing in. The majority of the testing is performed in North Carolina. Some of our customers own stations in upstate South Carolina, upstate Georgia, Eastern Tennessee and the lower parts of Virginia.
Advanced Environmental Solutions will pay for your Training and Certifications. You will then be a Certified Environmental Testing Technician.
As a Subcontractor, you will use your own vehicle, pay for your own gas and you will be responsible for all tools and equipment that is assigned to you.
The pay is negotiable.
