Employment Specialist/Student Services
Advanced Employment Group (AEG) is a community resource provider, we work with state vocational rehabilitation centers to help individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities find and maintain employment. As an Employment Specialist you are expected to:
* Attend weekly virtual meetings with management
* Meet virtually and in-person with clients
*Maintain communication and a good relationship with state MDRS counselors and offices
* Have a working knowledge of Google services (Gmail, Meet, Calendar, etc.) * Be willing to travel (which will be reimbursed) and live within a reasonable distance of the hiring area
You will be working one-on-one and in groups with our amazing clients, ages 14-22, providing Student Services in the areas of:
● Workplace Readiness
● Self Advocacy
● Job Exploration
● Postsecondary Counseling
● Work Based Learning Experiences
Time management is imperative. This position is in the field and work from home, and you will be entrusted to set your own schedule while still maintaining contact with management and being flexible as hours can be based on client needs.
