Role Description
This is a full-time Assistant Project Manager role based on-site in Louisville, KY. The Assistant Project Manager will oversee daily tasks such as expediting materials, managing project schedules, coordinating logistics, ensuring inspections are carried out, and assisting in overall project management. The position will support the Project Manager in delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are critical to this role, along with excellent communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Expediting and Expeditor-related tasks to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Experience in Project Management, including scheduling, planning, and collaboration with team members.
- Familiarity with Inspection processes and standards for maintaining high-quality project execution.
- Skills in Logistics Management to coordinate resources, materials, and workforce efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
