What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer/Electrical Apprentice position at Advanced Electrical Contracting Inc?
Advanced Electrical Contracting is an electrical contractor that does work on WYDOT city street and highway projects throughout the state of WY, MT, and CO. AECI is dedicated to providing opportunity for employees to learn and grow as electricians, as well as offering the proper resources to get jobs done efficiently and effectively.
We are looking for Laborers, Electrical apprentices, and Electricians interested in doing DOT electrical work. Individuals must have a strong work ethic and be self-driving as well as be able to face challenges and overcome obstacles. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs., have knowledge on how to operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders and other tools as directed by management. Experience in concrete is a plus. Must have a valid drivers license, and be able and willing to travel throughout the state Monday-Friday(Home on weekends) April through December. Travel paid by company. Work done on DOT projects will abide by the prevailing wage scale as set in that area. Shop rate will be as determined in our company policy according to school and experience.
- Additional compensation is provided with individuals with a CDL.
