Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automatic Door Technician located in Duncan, SC. The Automatic Door Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of automatic door systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing outstanding customer service. The role also requires proper coordination with clients and team members to deliver effective and timely solutions. Training will be provided on the field and in shop instruction.
Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of automatic door operators, low voltage wiring and standard commercial door hardware is strongly preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with industry safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Communication and Customer Service: Solid verbal communication skills and ability to provide quality service to clients and team collaboration.
- Education and Certifications: High school diploma or GED; AAADM certification or willingness to obtain is highly desirable.
