Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for skin exams and assist with dermatologic procedures including mohs surgeries, biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and cosmetic treatments
- Accurately document patient history, treatments, and procedures in the EMR
- Collect and label specimens for laboratory analysis
- Provide thorough pre- and post-procedure instructions to patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and instruments
- Assist with supply inventory and ensure rooms are stocked and ready
- Support front desk as needed (scheduling, check-in/out, phone calls)
Requirements
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred
- Prior experience in dermatology or a medical office strongly desired
- Familiarity with EMR systems; dermatology-specific software a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional, compassionate demeanor and strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask and thrive in a small practice setting

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
