Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center is the leading dermatology practice in Northwest Arkansas. Led by Dr. Henry, a Fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon, our expert team provides comprehensive care in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology all under one roof. Our clinics are located in Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville, and Harrison.

The Histology Technician will perform the various tasks required for receiving, processing, and preparing patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis by the physician. This may include logging, batching, cutting, mounting, and staining procedures.
What You’ll Do:
- Accessioning, Embedding, microtomy, slide staining, and cover slipping.
- Grossing tissue (must have qualifications for high complexity testing).
- Slide and cassette filing with attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, quality control, safety & compliance.
- Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots all histology laboratory equipment.
- Manage inventory and all lab supplies.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work as a team, taking direction as needed.
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Associate degree (Preferred)
- 1 year of Histology Experience (Preferred)
- 1 year Laboratory Experience (Preferred)
- 60 Hours of College with 24 hours in Biology/Chemistry (Required)
License/Certification
- HTL or HT Certification (Preferred)
