Full time position - 8:00am-5:00pm
Qualifications
Proven experience as a dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Additional certification or training is required
High school or equivalent (Required)
Dental Assisting: 2 years (Required)
Responsibilities
This individual will ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and dental tasks off the dentists' shoulders
To be successful in this role, this individual should be well-organized with great attention to detail
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentists through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the operatories clean and well-stocked
Maintain accurate patient records and update health history
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $8.50 - $15.00 per hour
