Responsibilities
- Perform exterior washing using appropriate cleaning equipment to remove dirt, grime, and road debris effectively.
- Conduct vehicle paint correction procedures, including automotive buffing, to restore paint clarity and shine.
- Use automotive buffers and polishing tools safely and efficiently to achieve a flawless finish.
- Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to ensure a spotless appearance.
- Operate standard passenger cars with manual transmissions safely during test drives or vehicle inspections.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the process by following safe work practices and using proper cleaning supplies.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed when handling equipment or moving vehicles within the auto detailing facility.
Requirements
- Prior experience in auto detailing or auto detailing facility is preferred; familiarity with car wash operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of vehicle exterior washing techniques, vehicle paint correction, and automotive buffing is essential.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and automotive buffers safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices when handling chemicals, equipment, and vehicles.
- Experience driving standard passenger cars with manual transmissions is desirable.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during detailing tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle interior detailing techniques and cleaning supplies.
