What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Maintenance Technician position at Advanced Dairy Service?
The primary focus of the Equipment Maintenance Technician is to provide quality and professional maintenance, service, repair, trouble-shooting, and installation of milking equipment on dairy farms in Colorado. Dairy equipment serviced ranges from electronics, pneumatics, vacuum pumps, milk pumps, air compressors, washing machines, plumbing, and more, to include performing pulsation in milking barns. The ideal candidate must have experience with equipment maintenance, be teachable and willing to learn, have a strong work ethic, be committed to serving others and valuing people, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Provide service, maintenance, repair and installation of dairy equipment
- Identify and trouble-shoot issues with equipment on Dairy Farms.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry specific equipment
- Build relationships with Dairy owners and employees through face to face interaction and communication and become an asset to them
- Intentionally develop and improve your skill levels through ongoing training to maintain and advance your proficiencies as an Equipment Maintenance Technician.
- Maintain the accuracy and organization of the inventory in your company vehicle
- Be diligent in the care, upkeep, and service of the company vehicle that you would be driving.
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
- Hours are generally 7:30– 5:00 Monday - Friday, to include on-call rotation.
