We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cabinetry Estimator to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating closely with clients and project teams to ensure seamless execution of cabinetry projects. You will be trained by the Sales / Design Manager on using the current estimating software and play a key role in implementing a new system of estimating custom cabinets. Your expertise will drive our success in delivering high-quality custom cabinetry solutions while maintaining justifiable pricing and exceptional value for our clients. Duties
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project plans to develop comprehensive cabinetry estimates.
- Utilize Excel for estimating to prepare precise cost analyses and proposals.
- Collaborate with clients, and internal teams to establish pricing, terms, and scope of work to optimize project budgets.
- Analyze construction site conditions and incorporate site-specific factors into estimates for accuracy.
- Coordinate with construction management teams to ensure estimates align with project timelines, budgets, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals, following our current estimating system to maintain continuity and consistency with our clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in estimating cabinetry. A minimum of 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of the terms involved in manufacturing custom cabinets.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Familiarity with construction site conditions and the ability to incorporate on-site realities into estimates accurately.
- Solid understanding of cost control strategies, pricing techniques, and budgeting practices within the industry.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
