Full-time or part-time dental assistant to join our superb team to work in the most technologically advanced dental office ever. Candidate must have strong computer skills, administrative skills, leadership, great work ethics and excellent customer service skills.

Duties

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
  • Compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Provide chairside assistance, including suctioning, retracting, and passing instruments during procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Monitor vital signs as needed during patient visits.
  • Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for children and assisting with their specific needs.
  • Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient management and scheduling.
  • Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and familiarity with general dentistry practices.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics.
  • Experience with medical imaging technologies such as 3D scanners is a plus.
  • Understanding of medical documentation processes, including coding and record management.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques is essential.
