Electrical Supervisor

Supervise and execute manufacturing processes in industrial plant. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification and schedule. 5 years of minimum experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment and has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures. Reports to the operations manager.

Essential job functions:

• Oversee and help with layout and installation of electrical components.
• Ability to trouble shoot electrical both AC/DC and data com.
• Meet and or exceed company metrics including Safety; Quality; Cost; and Delivery.
• Work with engineering department to reduce waste in manufacturing processes.
• Execute problem solving methods such as root cause analysis to eliminate manufacturing and quality issues.
• Read and interpret drawings allowing manufacturing to build to the design intent.
• Lead continuous improvement activities in your area of responsibilities.
• Plan and staff area to execute completion of schedule.
• Create and enforce a safe work environment while enforcing all company safety rules.
• Understand and enforce all company policies.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Individual must possess knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, using some combinations of skills and abilities:

• 5-10 years commercial or residential experience, dc circuitry, and or automotive electrical knowledge.
• Ability to carry out not only simple but complex oral and written instructions and deal with problems from standardized situations and work experience.
• Ability to communicate well with supervisors and co-workers.
• Ability to read blue prints and or drawings.
• Ability to comprehend additional training in relation to the performing of the work duties.
• PC literate.
• Knowledge of reading and understanding drawings.
