Advanced Concrete Technology Inc (ACT) is a family-owned and operated commercial concrete contractor located in Southwest Missouri that has been around since 1995. ACT operate multiple crews that complete the structural concrete components of the project and one crew that is highly skilled in flatwork.
We are looking for a skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in building concrete forms, installing reinforcing steel, and pouring and finishing concrete. The ideal candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, work independently and as part of a team, and maintain a high level of quality in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Build and install forms for concrete structures according to blueprints and specifications
- Install reinforcing steel to reinforce concrete structures
- Pour, level and finish concrete to required specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the layout and size of concrete structures
- Use various hand and power tools to perform concrete carpentry tasks
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure that all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to concrete carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
