Advanced Commercial Electronic System (ACES) is a premier Low Voltage Contractor, that specializes in Fire (life safety systems) inspection, testing, and maintenance. In addition to Fire, ACES installs and services Security, Access Control, Cameras, Nurse call, and Area of Refuge systems. ACES is a distributor of World Class products and is a leading Life Safety Technology Integration company.

Duties and responsibilities

Execute quality installation that meets, or exceeds, customer expectations and governing codes and standards.

Minimum requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and receive on-the-job training in technical trades and business administration.
  • Independent, self-starting, self-management and dependable
  • Willing to learn all aspects of Life safety systems (fire alarm, sprinklers, hoods, backflows)
  • Customer service on and off site, growing customer loyalty
  • Learn all day-to-day functions of the office/warehouse
  • Execute lean manufacturing practices with continuous focus on the mission statement.
  • Other duties as assigned

Learn Federal, State, and Local applicable code. Have or are willing to obtain required State required licensing and certifications.

You will learn or enhance your multi-craft hands-on skills in the Life Safety Industry. We execute quality installations, maintenance and inspection with state-of-the-art products (Fire, Extinguishers, Sprinkler, Security, Access, Cameras, Nurse Call, and Area of Refuge) while maintaining laser-focused customer service.

Qualifications

Working conditions

This job requires working inside and outside in all types of weather. Work overtime, off-hours, holidays, and weekends as required to meet customer expectations. Customer demands can be fluid and require immediate response in emergency situations. 24-hours on-call is required on a rotating basis

Physical requirements

This job is physically demanding, and you may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, do repetitive tasks with few breaks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
