Automotive Painter

Salary: $20 - $30 per hour (or specify a different range based on your shop's compensation structure)

Job Summary

Advanced Collision Repair Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Painter to join our team in Sunnyside, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a solid understanding of automotive painting techniques, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces, mixing and matching paint, and applying finishes to ensure a flawless final product.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an automotive painter (1 years).
• Knowledge of different types of paint, coatings, and their application processes.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and applying primers.
• Mix and match paint colors accurately to achieve a seamless finish.
• Operate and maintain a variety of painting equipment, including spray guns and paint booths.
• Apply multiple coats of paint and clear coat to vehicles.
• Perform paint touch-ups and repairs, including buffing and polishing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with other technicians and the body shop manager to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality and address any imperfections.

Must bring your own tools, we do not provide them.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
