Job description:
A busy Ambulatory Surgical Center in Altoona, PA is looking for a motivated individual to join our team!
The Materials Manager is responsible for the monitoring, purchasing, stocking and receiving supplies and equipment for the Facility. This position reports to the Clinical Director or designee and works cooperatively with the other members of the Surgery Center staff, the Medical Staff, Vendors, Patients and their families.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Complies with safety standards, qualities in attention to detail, organization, accuracy, ability to meet deadlines, follows instructions, and low degree of supervision.
- Review the needs of the facility utilizing the current EMR.
- Purchase and stock the appropriate number of medical items needed to perform procedures.
- Ability to form a collaborative relationships with medical staff and vendors.
Experience:
- Background as a CST or Operating Room Nurse.
Required Licensure and Certification:
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Certified CST or RN
- Clinical background knowledge as required by Facility and advantageous.
- Must be able to pass all criminal background checks and drug tests upon hire.
