Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, located in New Haven, CT is actively hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the evening shift, for our Skilled Nursing Facility. We are seeking an experienced RN to oversee all aspects of a unit/floor, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care. Extensive clinical experience a must, prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing
- Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests
- Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results
- Perform walking rounds to ensure nursing staff are providing the highest level of resident care possible
- Assesses residents upon admission and periodically as conditions change
- Obtains and implements Physician Orders, checking for accuracy and completeness
- Communicates between shifts regarding changes in resident/patient conditions
- Participate in Facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing Services
- Plans, implements and evaluates the clinical competencies and on-going educational/orientation needs of the staff
- Ensure that a sufficient number of nursing staff is available for each shift to ensure that quality care is maintained
- Must have current CT RN license
- Experience in Long Term Care is a plus
- Must have supervisory experience
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills

Salary : $114,000 - $120,000
