Advanced Carolina Technologies, LLC is looking for a skilled Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. We are currently executing a large-scale Wi-Fi infrastructure project, installing high-performance access points (APs) throughout an existing apartment complex.

Key Responsibilities
Installation: Running and routing Cat6 cabling through existing structures/units with minimal disruption to the property.
Termination: Expertly terminating Cat6 jacks, plugs, and patch panels.
Device Mounting: Securing and installing wireless access points in designated locations.
Testing: Utilizing testing equipment to ensure wire integrity and signal strength (continuity and speed tests).
Problem Solving: Navigating the unique challenges of "lived-in" environments and retrofit cabling.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in low-voltage wiring, telecommunications, or a related field.
Technical Skill: Proficiency with Cat6 cable management, termination standards (T568A/B), and basic networking hardware.
Tools: Must possess a complete personal toolset (e.g., impact punch-down tool, wire strippers, crimpers, drywall saw, ladder, and cordless drill).
Professionalism: Ability to work efficiently in a residential setting while maintaining a professional demeanor around tenants.
Reliability: Consistent transportation to the job site and a strong work ethic.
